Limited Series of an Artwork
EXP0 offers a limited series system designed to provide artists with maximum protection and collectors with complete transparency.
Each Series is recorded on the blockchain, guaranteeing that no additional copies can ever be created.
The Artist can offer an Artwork in three types of series:
- Unique Series (1/1)
- Limited Series (1/10)
- Numbered Series (1/100)
Each copy in a Series includes:
- An individual NFT, representing the numbered copy,
- A right to a unique physical print, claimable only once by the NFT Holder.
The number of copies constituting the Series is set at creation and cannot be modified, either by the Artist or by EXP0.

Ten numbered copies. Ten distinct NFTs. Ten possible unique prints.
This Series offers:
- controlled rarity,
- privileged access to the Artist’s work,

Ten copies. Ten holders. Ten authenticated fragments of the same Artwork.
Numbered Series — 1/100
A more open series, but still exclusive perfect for building a community of collectors.

How many copies should I choose for a limited series?
Choosing the number of copies is one of the most important artistic and legal decisions.
It influences:
- the value of the Artwork,

Why does EXP0 only offer series of 1, 10, and 100?
EXP0 series (1/1, 1/10, 1/100) are based on:
- recognized standards in fine art photography,
- perfect clarity for collectors,
- the absence of “exotic” or misleading series,
- better readability on the secondary market,
- a consistent international positioning.
Why doesn’t EXP0 offer a 1/30 series?
The 1/30 format comes from French tax law: a photograph printed in a maximum of 30 copies can benefit from the status of Work of Art under the French Tax Code. This rule is fiscal and local, and has no impact on copyright protection or the artistic value of a work.
EXP0 has chosen deliberately simple and universal series — 1/1, 1/10, 1/100 — to guarantee perfect readability for artists and collectors internationally.
Series 1/1 and 1/10 fully fall within the 30-copy threshold.
Series 1/100 remains perfectly legitimate in the digital art market but does not fall under the French tax regime reserved for galleries.
